Designer of the Day: Anne-Claire Petit

Just discovered the designer Anne-Claire Petit who comes from the Netherlands and studied industrial design. During her studies she specialized in textile design and became interested in handcrafted products. Her collection shows her love for crocheting, weaving as well as printing.

Her career as a designer started in 1986 where she worked for Esprit. Then she started her own company called "Anne-Claire Petit Accessoires" which became popular for its fashion accessoires and shawls. The collection grew quickly and in 2002 Anne-Claire began to focus on a kids and home collection which consists of toys and playful accessories as well as furniture and decorative objects.
